Under the castle there is a network of cellars and underground passages dug into the rock. Taking a tour of the 'Felsengänge' (rock passages) is a fascinating way to discover the city's beer history.
For the perfect photo of half-timbered houses, look for this street. It is the best preserved row of craftsman houses in the old town and is incredibly picturesque.
