Allemannsretten (Right of Access): This 'right to roam' allows you to camp freely on uncultivated land for one or two nights, as long as you are more than 150 meters from the nearest house. It is a privilege that comes with the responsibility of leaving no trace.

Internal Transportation: Renting a car is the best way to explore flexibly, but it is expensive and the distances are long. Trains offer scenic routes (such as the Oslo-Bergen line). Buses and ferries are essential to connect the network of fjords and towns.

Tips: Tipping is not common or mandatory, since the service is included in the prices. If the service has been exceptional, it is acceptable to round up the bill, but no one will be offended if you don't.
