Description

Located in Krabi province, the Phi Phi Islands archipelago is one of the most spectacular and photogenic island landscapes in the world. Made up of six main islands – highlighting Koh Phi Phi Don (the only inhabited one) and Koh Phi Phi Leh (protected as a National Park) –, it impresses with its vertical limestone rock walls covered with vegetation that emerge directly from crystalline turquoise and emerald waters. It is an ideal destination for snorkeling, traditional boat excursions, hiking to panoramic viewpoints and diving.

From November to April. It is the dry period with clear skies, calm seas and optimal visibility for snorkeling and diving. It is advisable to avoid the months from June to October due to monsoon rains and possible strong waves.

Since there are no motor vehicles on Koh Phi Phi Don, you will need to walk to your hotel or use taxi boats. Strict environmental protection rules apply in Maya Bay: swimming in coral regeneration areas and the use of sunscreens with chemicals harmful to the reef are not allowed.
