Description

Naxos is the largest island in the Cyclades archipelago, known for its exceptionally green and mountainous landscape compared to its arid neighbors. Mythologically famous as the place where Theseus abandoned Ariadne and where Dionysus married her, Naxos combines a rich Venetian and Byzantine heritage with agricultural valleys, fertile plains, the imposing Mount Zas and some of the best beaches in the Aegean Sea.
