Tropical climate. It has two marked seasons: the dry season (May to October), with clear days, low humidity and excellent visibility; and the wet/green season (November to April), with greater heat, tropical and intense but brief rains, and a greater presence of jellyfish.

Warm tropical waters all year round. In winter (June to August) they are around 22-24°C, while in summer (December to February) they reach 28-30°C. The waters of the interior lagoons and islands are serene and of exceptional transparent clarity.

Precautions

Jellyfish (Stinger Season)

Between November and May (wet season) the presence of poisonous jellyfish (Box Jellyfish and Irukandji) is recorded in coastal waters. It is mandatory to use protective lycra suits (stinger suits) for bathing.

Strong Ocean Currents

Intense tidal currents can form in the outer barrier channels and between the islands. Follow the instructions of the diving instructors.
