Mediterranean climate. Long, hot and very dry summers, with abundant sunlight. Mild and relatively humid winters. Rains are scarce in summer.
The waters of the Mediterranean are incredibly warm and transparent, ideal for swimming. From June to October, temperatures range between 23°C and 27°C. In winter, they drop to 14-16°C. The beaches are usually shallow and calm, protected from strong waves.
Jellyfish may occasionally appear, especially in the warmer months. Caution is recommended and follow the instructions on the flags.

Formentera is an expensive destination in high season. Vehicle access is regulated in summer and sustainability is prioritized. Parking spaces at popular beaches are very limited. The sun is very intense. Being a small island, the nightlife offer is limited, focused on relaxed bars and beach bars, not large clubs.
Available in most hotels and restaurants. In areas with virgin or more remote beaches, the connection may be limited or non-existent.
Prepaid SIM cards are easily accessible in La Savina or Sant Francesc. Mobile coverage is good in most parts of the island.
