Days 1–5

Buenos Aires

San Telmo, Palermo, Recoleta, one museum (MALBA/Fine Arts), sunset at Puerto Madero or Costanera, and a real tango night or serious asado.

  • Don’t try “every barrio” on foot the same day. Subte + walk by zone.
Days 6–8

Iguazú (or Calafate)

Flight to Puerto Iguazú. Argentine side day (Devil’s Throat), half day Brazil if visa/time allow. Alt: El Calafate + Perito Moreno.

  • Rain jacket and phone cover on walkways. Go early: fewer people, better light.
Days 9–10

BA close or extension

Return to BA for the international flight, or add Tigre/Delta if you have a spare day. Buffer for domestic delays.

  • If you pick Patagonia lite, leave 4+ nights there — the flight already eats a day.
