Days 1–4Havana
Old Havana on foot, Malecón at sunset, Vedado/Centro, live music, and one “neighbourhood only” day without three museums in a row.
- Casa particular > anonymous hotel if you want conversation and local tips.
Days 5–6Trinidad or Viñales
Trinidad: colonial squares + Valley of the Sugar Mills lite. Viñales: mogotes, tobacco, cave or viewpoint. One hub only.
- Viazul or private colectivo: book the seat — transfers stretch the day.
Days 7–8Beach lite & departure
Ancón beach from Trinidad, or back to Havana + a Varadero/Playas del Este day only if it fits. Margin for the international.
- Cash and connectivity: plan offline maps and usable currency.
