Panama City

Casco Viejo, Cinta Costera, one skyline/Amador day, and food (fish, patacones). One deep neighbourhood > three malls.

  • Stay Casco or a zone with solid Uber to airport and Canal.
Day 4

Canal (Miraflores)

Miraflores visitor centre — catch a ship lock if you can. Combine with BioMuseo or Amador, not a midday Bocas flight.

  • Mornings often have more ship traffic — check timings.
Days 5–8

Caribbean or highland

Bocas del Toro (flight/bus+boat): islands, snorkel lite, slow pace. Alt: El Valle de Antón (cool air) or Guna Yala only with a serious operator and time.

  • One Caribbean/highland hub — not “one day on every famous island”.

Uber in the city; domestic flight or bus+boat to Bocas. Weather buffer in the Caribbean. USD de facto.
