Voir le guide completOfficial permits issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) for tracking gorillas in Bwindi/Mgahinga and chimpanzees in Kibale have strict daily quotas. It is essential to book them several months in advance (preferably between 6 and 12 months for the dry season) through authorized agencies or directly with the UWA.
All visas must be processed online in advance through the official Ugandan immigration portal (there is no visa on arrival). If you plan to combine the trip with Kenya and/or Rwanda, it is much more economical and practical to apply for the joint 'East Africa Tourist Visa'.
