It is recommended to dress decorously (covering shoulders and knees, especially in medinas, mosques and rural or southern areas). Hospitality towards foreigners is a sacred value: it is very common for locals to offer tea, selfless help and friendly conversations. It is advisable to ask permission before photographing local people.
