San Sebastián, known in Basque as Donostia, is a coastal city located in the province of Guipúzcoa, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, in northern Spain. Located in the bay of La Concha, on the shores of the Cantabrian Sea and very close to the border with France, it stands out for its natural beauty, its elegant architecture and its rich Basque culture. With a population of approximately 189,093 inhabitants in the city and a metropolitan area that exceeds 436,500 inhabitants, San Sebastián is an important tourist and cultural center.
